Tragedy Hits Haiti: Earthquake Relief For Haiti

As you may already know, on January 12th, Haiti was hit with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake. This tragedy has had a negative effect on millions. Homes were destroyed and lives have been lost. As a haitian american, it is hard for me to just sit back and expect everything to just get better. That's why we need to come together and help Haiti. So far a lot has been done. Millions of dollars have been raised and everyone is coming together to donate clothing and food. We need to get harder. If you would like to help MUDHA (Movement of Dominican Haitian Women) is accepting the following donations:

  • First Aid supplies (Bandages, antibiotics, anti-allergy medication, children's tylenol, eye drops, insect repellent, hydrogen peroxide, etc.)
  • Personal hygiene goods (Toothpaste and brushes, soap, deodorant, sanitary napkins, brand new underwear, etc.)
  • Dry Foods, Nutrition bars, fruit and nut bars, cereal bars (no canned foods)
  • Candles & Batteries (AA&D)
